March 2006 for A couple of days to Denmark
I went to visit here some American friends whom we met 2 weeks before in The Netherlands. Arriving there thursday in the morning we got directly a nice tour of the city. Touristic places like Amalienborg and of course the Little Mermaid. But even many more. The city is filled with beautiful big buildings, many decorated with green copper.
We went to several museums. for example: The National Museum & Statens Art Museum. The first named has a really big collection of many danish and none danish history artefacts/stories. The Last named museum is really impressive. This is A MUST SEE! We were lucky that there was a Rembrandt Exposition. The nice thing for these museums is that there isn't an admission fee. Though for the Rembrandt Exhibition there was a small fee. Food is great in Denmark. Just take a nice sandwich/bagel in the small foodshops.
Going out: We've been to Emma's, Out of Juice & Vega. Three cool places. All different but all very relaxed!
Our Hosts aren't members of tobelocal.com though I informed them about it.
Thank you Lisa, Sarah and their friends!!!!

February 2006 for A couple of days to Austria
Wintersport in Hinterglemm! Touristic place with many(too many) dutch people and a lot of English and Danish people. Luckily when there are not Dutch Holidays, the dutch don't exceed to much. The Ski-pistes are really ok, many versatile slopes for beginners and more advanced ski-ers/snowboarders. The apres-ski/nightlife is good.
The food in many are good, but you don't have a big choice. The prices are really fare.
Just a nice place to go to for wintersports and NOTHING MORE!
